Executive coaching

Lead from who you really are.

Pressure pulls leaders away from their intuition and their purpose. I've carried that weight as CFO and Managing Director. Coaching brings you back to your own source of clarity — where your best decisions come from.

How it works

Direct. Clear. With room to laugh.

Every trajectory is tailored. Maarten creates a safe space to look honestly at the patterns and blocks that limit your growth — and challenges you where it matters.

The work draws on Transformational Presence: a way of building awareness that aligns your energy with what you want to create. Maarten is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

A practice: self-inquiry

Out of your head. Back to presence.

When you are caught in your mind — replaying the last meeting, rehearsing the next one — you lose presence, and with it your clearest thinking. Self-inquiry is an age-old contemplative practice to come back. It takes two minutes, anywhere.

  1. Catch the thought. Notice the thought that is pulling you away, like “What if this deal falls through?” Don’t follow it and don’t fight it.

  2. Ask: to whom does this thought come? The honest answer is: to me. Then ask the real question: who am I — the one who is aware of this thought?

  3. Rest as that awareness. Don’t look for an answer in words. Feel the quiet attention that notices everything, and stay there for a few breaths. Thoughts lose their grip, presence returns — and you decide from clarity instead of pressure.
